Why are you doing this promotion? Is it a sweepstakes?
No, this is not a sweepstakes. It's just our way of thanking our Cardmembers for their business throughout the year and for making us their Card of choice for holiday shopping.
Why are the featured items priced below retail?
We are offering the featured items at prices that are below retail as our way of giving something back to our Cardmembers during the holidays.
How can I purchase one of the featured items I see on the site?
To purchase one of the featured items on the site, you must visit the site at 12pm, 4pm, or 9pm ET on the day the item becomes available. Once you are sure you want to purchase the item, get your American® Express Card ready and click on the "I Want It" button to see if the product is still available. If the product is still available, you will need to provide your billing and shipping information. If the product is not available, you will receive a "Not Available" message.
If a featured item is sold out that day, will I have a chance to get another one?
All featured items except for the BMW will only be available for one day during the promotion, while supplies last. The BMW will be available to purchase on three separate days.
Is there a waiting list for items that I can sign up for?
No, there is no waiting list.
How long does this promotion last?
The promotion starts at 12pm ET on November 22, 2004, and ends at 11:59pm on December 21, 2004.
Wish Certificates
What is a Wish Certificate?
A Wish Certificate is a limited-time, limited-supply offer that you can redeem at a selection of top-name merchants for substantial savings. Offers vary by merchant.
How many Wish Certificates can I get?
You can get one Wish Certificate per household, per day.
How will I receive my Wish Certificate?
Wish Certificates requested before 3pm ET are sent out at the end of each business day. Wish Certificates requested after 3pm ET will be sent out the following business day. All orders are sent out via UPS Overnight.
Do I have to pay anything for the Wish Certificate?
No. Wish Certificates are just another way we are thanking our Cardmembers this holiday season. However, we do ask for your Card number in order to verify you are a Cardmember, and there is a limit of one Wish Certificate per household, per day.
Can I redeem a Wish Certificate both in-store and online?
The merchants will provide different options as to how you can redeem your Wish Certificates with them. Some merchants have online redemption only, some have in-store redemption only, and some offer both options.
Do Wish Certificates expire?
You have until December 24, 2004, to redeem your Wish Certificates. If you have a travel Wish Certificate, travel dates must be booked by December 24, 2004, as well. For more details on travel requirements and travel times, please read the individual terms and conditions on your travel Wish

How can I find out which featured items are scheduled to go on sale?
You can see which featured items are scheduled to go on sale up to one week in advance with our weekly calendar at the bottom of the home page at mylifemycard.com/mywishlist.
Have the featured items for sale been previously used or refurbished?
No. All the featured items are brand new and from the manufacturer.
Who am I actually buying these featured items from?
American Express has purchased the featured items directly from their manufacturers, and is giving Cardmembers the option of purchasing them at prices that are significantly below retail price.
When do I need to book my travel package by?
Individual travel expiration dates vary. For more details on travel requirements and travel times, please read the individual terms and conditions on the travel item you wish to purchase.
When do the featured items go on sale?
Every day a new featured item will become available at 12pm, and will be offered again at 4pm and 9pm ET. Because quantities are extremely limited and every second counts, be sure to watch the clock at mylifemycard.com/mywishlist. This is the clock that will be used for timing the sales.
Damaged Products/Returns/Warranties
Will I get a manufacturer's warranty/service agreement?
The product will be accompanied by the manufacturer's standard warranty when applicable. American Express is not responsible for warranty inclusion.
How can I return my featured item?
There are no returns, exchanges, or refunds on featured items.
Payment/Purchase
Do I have to pay with my American Express Card? Can I use my Corporate Card?
Yes. You can pay for your featured items with any Card that has the American Express Blue Box on it.
Can I buy more than one featured item at a time?
No. As featured items are in extremely limited quantities, we can only offer one item per Cardmember, per household, per day. For example, if you buy an item at 12pm, you are not eligible to buy another item at 4pm or 9pm.
Can you gift wrap my purchase?
We cannot gift wrap your purchase.
Will you include a gift receipt?
Gift receipts are not available on purchases.

Will the price of the featured item I've purchased show up on the shipping invoice?
No. You will receive a confirmation e-mail with complete price details.
Can I get Membership Rewards® points, Delta SkyMiles®, WorldPointsSM, etc., with my purchase?
Absolutely. You will receive miles or reward points on all purchases you make with eligible, enrolled Cards. Program terms apply.
Can I pay for a featured item with Membership Rewards points or Delta SkyMiles, WorldPointsSM, etc.?
No. You can only pay for your featured items with your Card.
Do I have to pay tax?
Yes. You will be responsible for your state's individual tax rates. The sales tax charged, if applicable, will be on the actual price paid (the WishList price) rather than the recommended retail price. All purchases may be subject to personal income tax (federal, state, and local) based on the discount amount off the fair market value of each of the item(s) purchased. Discount amounts of more than $600 per Cardmember across one or multiple purchases are subject to income tax and you will receive a Form 1099-MISC. American Express, where applicable, will provide funds to Cardmembers to help defray income taxes. You will receive a package in the mail with full details on how to receive those funds.
If I misplace my confirmation e-mail, where can I refer to the details and specific terms and conditions for my purchase?

Shipping and Returns
How will the item be shipped to me? Are there shipping and handling costs?
You will have the choice of UPS Ground or UPS Overnight shipping for most items. There will be a flat shipping charge of $5 for UPS Ground and $10 for UPS Overnight. Other items will be sent directly from the manufacturer or through certificates. You will need to reference the individual product details for complete information on shipping methods.
When will the item be shipped to me?
Items that are being sent directly from American Express will be shipped the next business day following your purchase. You will need to reference the individual product details for complete information on shipping methods for items being shipped directly from the manufacturer or redeemed through certificates.
What happens if I don't receive my order?
If you have not received your order, simply call us at 1-888-309-8339 from 9:30am - 10:00pm ET, Monday through Friday. Have your confirmation/order number available. We will include tracking information on your confirmation e-mail.
Can I ship to a different address than my billing address?
Yes, you can ship your item anywhere in the contiguous United States, Alaska, and Hawaii.
Can I cancel an order before I receive it?
No. Once you submit an order, the order is final.
Will I receive my order by December 25, 2004?
We will do our best to get your order to you by December 25, 2004. However, we cannot guarantee delivery by any holiday.
