Default Anyway to expunge stuff off my credit report?

Do I have to wait the full seven years, or can I do something now?

probably depends if the "stuff" was put on your credit report for a reason or not. Are we talking credit checks or actual late notices, defaulting loans, etc. etc?

Is the information accurate (e.g. did the creditor screw up or did you not pay your bills)?

Not if you actually did miss payments, etc. The scams that offer to "clean" your record just challenge valid items and only get them removed for a short period while the credit service verifies them. All the bad stuff comes back soon.

If the original creditor sold the debt (4 years old) to another creditor, can the new creditor put another black mark onto your credit report?

No defaults, just late payments on closed accounts (listed as by my request) and one civil judgement, also paid in full.

If its accurate stuff, I don't think there's any way to hide it, thats kind of the purpose of the credit report.

AT 3-4 years out if you've had good credit since it shouldn't be a deal breaker.

You can always contest the stuff on your report. Its my understanding that the reporting company has to prove that the info they reported is accurate when you contest something on your report. You could give it a shot and maybe the company might not be able to prove you were late. It may be worth a shot.
