does your state have laws against shipping alcohol from internet sales? I would check that first.

Thread jack, can anyone recommend a B&M store to purchase grain alcohol from? Online prices look to be ~$15-20 for 750 ML, I'm wondering if that price is unreasonable.

BevMo? http://www.bevmo.com/ I've never felt the need to buy alcohol online, but their B&M store has good prices.

When I was underage I

1) Had a decent fake ID
2) Knew the liquor stores that rarely if ever carded.
3) Got older people to buy liquor

Any of those things work unless you're 12.

The scam in my day (and probably still now) is for underage girls to put up personals looking for older guys or simply just reply to the older guys ads.

They'd ask for you to send them a nice bottle of champagne in brown paper to 'prove' your interest. They'd claim their roommate was an alcholic or something to explain why.

I made the news here and I believe some older men were arrested for illegal mailing and supplying alcohol to a minor. Some older chicks caught on and did the same thing to just score free drinks.

The stupid part of it was some of these guys didn't take it so well and since they had the address; got a bit violent.

I can buy exactly what you're looking for at my local grocer for $37.99, and $32.99 at BevMo.
