Dungeness crabs live in deep waters, don't they? If yes, I doubt they care about time o' day

Shoreline crabs: I see ghost crabs at night only. Blue crabs seem to be active in daytime, but they stay in the water. I see Fiddler crabs in the daytime in mangrove areas, and also those dark (almost black) crabs that cling to rocks along rocky beaches.

Dungeoness crabs are suprisingly meaty. It's in my top 3 list of crabs to eat. Haven't try Rock crabs yet.
