How to ship Pizza
This is no joke.
Whats the best and cost efficient way to ship pizza?
I know its possible because some companies do it. Just not sure how to ship foods so they stay good.

I can imagine some one opening there pizza and it being ROCK HARD. Then they drop it and it shatters terminator style.

You probably have to use a few layers of plastic to prevent that.

You shipping a frozen pizza or a fresh one? Why are you doing this? It's probably cheaper to give someone a gift certificate to pizza hut or somewhere else.

I assume because they want a certain favorite excellent pizza that's not available where they're at. Obviously, it's not a Digiorno, nor Pizza Hut, Domino's, or Pappy Juan's. That would be rather silly.

maybe its really good pizza that you can only get where he's from? When I was in Philadelphia, we had a couple hoagies (sandwiches) made up to take back on the plane back to California. They triple wrapped them and they came out fine

Exactly. This is "special pizza" from a "special place"...
Now... If you can put on your ninja suit and break into the pizza parlor and get their recipes for me then let me know. Also need their suppliers of their foods.
Gonna ship like 5-10 at a time. So it will be worth it. Even with the added shipping costs. Not sure how much Dry Ice runs though.
Sometime I wanna order from 1800-Lou-2-go. I heard their Pizza is EXCELLENT and they ship it too.

It wouldn't matter that much what the recipe is. In the pizza shop I work at, each person measures out the ingredients for the next batch of dough. For the most part, there's no difference. But, regardless of who measures the ingredients, I can tell the difference by taste between doughs based on who actually adds the water, mixes it, etc.
