Default Acousticase C6607

Just came into stock at quietpcusa.com. I got it with the Acoustifan 120mm for $200.

It's basically an Antec 3700 BQE without a power supply, and it includes a custom fitted acoustic padding kit.

Hopefully when I put my Zalman 400w PSU and my Zalman 7000Cu in this bad boy, it will extremely quiet. Besides, I really hate the window on my Antec 1080.

:camera:s?

Please post'em when you get it up and running. As well as your review, of course.

I think it's kinda crappy that I have to install the acoustic foam stuff myself. You'd think for more then 2x the price of the 3700 BQE, they could do it for me...

Can you buy the foam kit seperately?
Just bought a 3700 BQE.
Is it more than $100?

edit: checked the site
kit not ready for 3700BQE yet.
Let us know how it turns out.

I think Dan's Data just ran a test on some Akasa and Speeze foam padding and it made less than 1dB of difference...

Yeah, but this foam is supposed to be the best stuff you can get. And most of the pieces do fit the antec 3700s, like it says on the acoustiproducts site.

The AcoustiPack dampening kit for the 3700BQE should be available separately in a few weeks. Be patient and you can probably save a little dough.

Here's my review of the pre-cut kit fitted into a 3700AMB.

i've packed a case with 1/2" skinned accoustic foam, i used a lot... way more then comes in those kits. its still not worth it, u gotta get noise at the source since u cannot seal the thing in accoustic foam 100%, it becomes pointless.
