Well see, here's where you're wrong. They went somewhere that 28 teams didn't, the conference championship, and 30 other teams didn't do, the number 1 seed. In addition to say they were lucky to hang on is funny since after the first score of the game they lead for all but about 20 seconds. And I don't see how what might be the best receiving corps in the NFL is uninteresting, but then I don't find constant punting interesting and perhaps you do.

Right. Brady's injury raised the issue, but it still wasn't an illegal hit in that particular case since it was unavoidable. I think Carson Palmer's injury was another factor.

"except Giants" was in my post and I've got something for 'ya, your team puked up an entire month of football losing to everything in sight to not even MAKE the playoffs, those SB 3 point victory's are over, your team now sucks ass and can't even make it to the post-season, what a joke for the fans they were...

It is a common misconception that the Giants had a new gameplan that took the Patriots by surprise. On the contrary, both the Colts and Ravens (and I believe the Eagles as well) employed exactly the same strategy in the regular season and both teams nearly beat the Patriots. The Colts, for example, were up 10-0. The difference was that the Colts and Ravens couldn't keep the defensive intensity up long enough to win, whereas the Giants did and also had better personnel to do it with.
I'd venture to say that most NFL fans hate the Patriots because of their fan base. Seriously, any time the Colts lost (for example), the Indy Star message boards were flooded with Patriot fans doing their usual gloating ("HAHA! Manning choked!"). I later learned that this was not unique to the Indy message boards but seemed to happen to any team that played the Patriots. So, guess what happened when the Patriots lost SB 42? The Boston newspaper message boards were flooded by fans of the other 31 teams who took the opportunity to publicly berate the Pats (and their fans) after one of the biggest debacles in NFL history. I don't think most Pats fans appreciate how much their team is reviled around the country. Fans like the ones I mention above are the reason.

This is the unfortunate part when a team has success, assholes and bandwagoneer's abound jump on board, I was a fan way back in 1970's, going to the worst arena in the sporting world, (I'm not joking, Sullivan Stadium cost $6mil to build, T bay spent that for the cannon deal alone..) hoping for a day when we might actually beat the Dolphins in a playoff game, Russ Francis and Steve Grogan (and Standly Morgan) gave us some hope. The thing with BB is like a deal with the devil, he delivered the goods but he is as arrogant as they come then videoing defensive signs didn't help much then running up the score in the 18-1 season. Funny thing is Baltimore had us beat that year, 4th down play 4 yds to go, screen pass got stuffed up for no gain but wait.........a Baltimore defensive coach got cute and called a TO right before the ball was snapped, Brady got another try and they went on to win the game 3 throws later...

The steeler was blocked into the direction Carson's leg, and fell into it (Off balance from the offensive lineman from pulling up on his block). He could have easy kept the momentum going all the way through him too and not be penalized because he was pushed into him. However you can see he caught himself, on the ground with his elbow and only went part way. No way was it intentional, or could even be considered Roughing the passer, as it was all momentum and not something controllable.

As a Seahawks fan, I give your team credit for making us look very, very bad on defense, but watching that game I still think we win 75 out of 100 games played on a neutral field. Atlanta can be a great team but the reason they will not make it is they are way too dependent on the quarterback to perform well. And that can be sabotaged by a lot of things--the receivers having a bad game, the O-line having a bad game, and of course the QB having a bad game. The former never happens but the latter two certainly do.

We certainly need improvement on the running game in Atlanta, but I believe the Falcons had one of their best running games of the year against Seattle and the Seahawks couldn't stop the run the entire first half. Then for some reason they stopped running the ball which I didn't quite get considering how good the Seattle corners are. There wasn't much of a run game against the 49ers as they couldn't stop the pass at all and the lead back got hurt in the 2nd quarter and went out.
Top three holes on the team to fill are tight end if Tony Gonzalez does indeed retire, running back as Michael Turner can't perform like he used to, and pass rush as the Falcons don't really have one.

We had Bruce Irvin in for Chris Clemons on the d line. That was a weak spot for us anyway before losing our best player

Tom Brady fined $10K for kick-slide
He just wanted to kick it with his homeboy Ed Reed.

No AMDzen did not, however people from this trhead caught him in the NHL thread. So we knows he knows we know how foolish of his confidence was, and how sad he is excusing the lose for Denver
Pro bowl? Can that really settle a QB debate? I mean it isn't with their original team, they only play a % of 100% (this year they played a much better game) but still not 100%.

Probowl has only been before the super bowl for 2 or 3 years now. That move just further proved how idiotic the game has become.

He still doesn't believe he was wrong because, in his words, the 70 yard TD to Jacoby Jones was a fluke and has never happened before in playoff history.

Yea. Remember what type of play the broncos used to beat the steelers in the playoffs last year? Wasn't it an 80yard pass? Sure a lot of it was run after catch...
But I am sure you catch my drift.
