62.4 miles today (21 in the morning, 41.4 after work). On the way to work, I improved on my KOM mark on a small hill near the end, and on the way home I tried for a fairly fast, stable effort, but my back was hurting toward the end.
Achievement unlocked: fishing the ibuprofen out of my trunk bag while time-trialing
The weather will be turning rainy by the end of tomorrow and I still need 208 miles by the 26th to finish my Strava distance challenge, so I will try to take the long way to work again tomorrow, and get some extra miles before it rains.

Only 25 miles today. The temperature dropped and it began raining steadily right as I was getting ready to go home, so I took the short route home. 183 miles over the next 5 days if I want to complete my Strava challenge.

12 miles today. wet in the morning, wet and windy in the evening. Looking at the clouds I decided against the long way home. Temps were down to 13C and Friday morning they're expecting 2-3C.
Those are acceptable temperature in February. The poor Giro guys also suffered massively on the Galibier in those conditions... Snow down to below 1000m.
Got myself some new Castelli gloves (Rosso Corsa S12 - must have gotten some old stock, but the price was 10% lower) and while they are quite pricey, the comfort is just completely next level, compared to all the Gore/Specializes stuff I checked out at the store in autumn. Not very much padding, a real summer glove, and some gel pads on the base to help out in falls. And red - I'm a bloody 7 shades of red by now, between the red stripe on my Michelins, the glossy red Fizik bar tape, the red Gore long sleeve winter top, the red patches on my Specialized shorts, the red rims of my Uvex glasses, and the red bits on both my Giro and MET helmets, and now of course the mitts. Precisely none of them match. Not even the red details on my shoes...
Oh well, I like red!

First week was in Salt Lake City and didn't track all my rides but I'll post what I did track, second week was transitioning back to China, third week was back to a more normal non-jet lagged state:
April 29 - May 5 = 21 miles
May 6 - May 12 = 22 miles
May 13 - May 19 = 55 miles

4 miles in the morning, 27 on the way home from work. I'd gotten to the edge of town on my homeward loop, and there were rain squalls all across the horizon, so it was just a question of how far I'd get before they got me. Surprisingly, I made it through the rural area and was back to town when it finally got me, at which point I busted out my rain jacket and began heading for home. Could've been worse, but I was hoping for more like 40-45 miles tonight. At least I had my bad-weather tights (Bellwether Windfront) and my winter shoes & thick wool socks.
152 miles necessary in the next 4 days to complete my Strava distance challenge.

Once again only 12. Actually got into my winter gear this morning, and didn't really regret it. Bloody weather.

21 on the way to work, 32 on the way home, nothing very exciting to report on these ones. No rain, yay
With three days remaining on the Strava distance challenge, I now need 98 miles. There's a 60% chance of rain showers tomorrow, but minimal chances for the final two days, so I think I can squeak by without any desperate heroics if I just use my rural commuting route.

17 miles today (basic commute with errands). So if I want to complete my Strava distance challenge, I have to do 81 miles over the next two days. At least it's the weekend, and the weather doesn't look too scary (20% chance of showers, highs in the mid 60s).

62.2 miles today (hey, a metric century!), consisting of an out-and-back on the highway plus a trip downriver to see a couple pals at the 24-hour mountain-bike race.
That leaves 18 miles left by midnight Sunday to finish my Strava distance challenge. Since I'm going out to see my 24-hour racers again tomorrow, that'll provide the final miles I need.
