$67 for 16GB Kingston 1.5v good?
I really wanted to get the Samsung low profile low voltage ram 8GB. I never see it on sale on Canada though. I look at the newegg US site and now it says discontinued!
So I must find another ram. I see this deal and its only today. 16gb for $67 after tax + free ship. Remember I am in Canada.

you think it's good?
It is 1.5 volt and 10 latency.
not as good as the Samsung.
I notice free shipping though and it's Canadian price so it seems ok.
anyone else? Deal expires tonight.

how about this one. Free shipping as well, $6 more. I think the ram yesterday was better because this has big heat spreader. I think timings are better though.
US price is $59.99, Canada is $69.99 but I can price match and get it for $73 after tax.

If you want the magic ram, then why aren't you buying?

the samsung ram is $20 for 1 stick of 4gb. $10 shipping. So it would cost me over $120 not including tax for 16gb.
It looks like the 8gb is discontinued now.
I don't know why the prices suck for Canadians. US always gets free shipping and much cheaper.

Do you want me to buy it for you and send it over? You could simply Paypal me. Get what you want, plus no other ram compares.

I'd go ECC with that much ram. I3's support ecc natively. 16gb is too much ram to avoid bit-flip.

that is a really nice offer kleinkinstein I will consider it.
4 sticks of samsung would be $80 not including tax, so still more than this patriot 16gb. Plus I would have to pay you for shipping. If it goes on sale then yes definitely I think I would do this.
also I don't have i3. I have i5 3570k and no other new parts yet.
I already know 8gb of ram is enough for gaming which is what I do. But whenever I see 16gb at a price I think is good with free shipping I consider. I mean why not.

Your call but I can score you 8GB for $31.82 (yeah, it's more than anyone needs) or 16GB for $63.64. We'll split the shipping, it's Christmas for Christsakes! And you'll pay it forward.
