Default HD7850 or GTX650tiboost on my rig. need advice

cpu: intel i3 540
ram: 4gbram
harddrive: 500gb sata
psu: Coolermaster 460w
dvd drive
mouse,keyboard,speaker,printer,19inch monitor

any suggestion for buying new GPU. im thinking of buying gtx650ti1gb(400w)
i have read that my PSU is not entrylevel and it is only 430w.

which will i buy? or do you have any suggestion aside from the 3.

HD7850 consumes less power than 650Ti boost. And OC better.

They commonly overstate power requirements. My full system maxes at 240w under full load. If the psu is old it still might not be up to the task though.

If you are willing to overclock then get the 7850. It's a solid card at 1000mhz on the core, a basically guaranteed overclock on the card.

The 650ti boost 2gb is a good alternative, but taking into consideration the overclocks the 7850 does it's the best of your options for performance.

430w quality PSU is fine for the 7850. It consumes ~130watts, there's plenty of power on a 430w for the rest of your system.

I might be a little biased since I own 2 2GB GTX 650 Ti BOOST SLI. I like AMD's cards, too, but I prefer SLI and I think NVidia's drivers are a tad bit more sturdy (no Direct 3D device has failed and recovered problems). You should have a good quality 750w Power Supply like my Cooler Master 750W GXII. It'll run 2 GTX 780-Ti SLI or 2 Radeon R9 290X XFire no problem and only cost me $79.99. Don't limit yourself with that pitiful power supply of yours.
