even if he estimated his flywheel HP using a generous "average drivetrain loss" of 18% (resulting in 354 flywheel HP), the calculation results in a ~3,340-lb car - still far too light for a base '05 GT, let alone a loaded one.

I accidentally used the V6 weight at 3300lbs and flywheel HP. The correct weight is 3450lbs therefore 9.86.....or 11.5 if using RWHP.
BHP was a guesstimate at 350. Car has 300BHP stock and dyno'd at around 260 stock, so when it read 300RWHP, I made an un-calculated guess at 350 crank...

Crank #s
3200/265hp
= 12.07
w/ 305
=10.5
STI is rated at 305, but Dynos in at the same as the WRX, so either the WRX is under rated or the STI is over rated. I think the WRX is underrated
Previous Car was G35
3600/300 (with mods)
= 12

You know the horsepower wars are out of control when a Viper isn't powerful enough.

But that's an older viper. The new one is ~5.2-5.3 depending on model.
Not out of control though. I like saying I have more power than the new viper (but also 500 lbs more weight, no aerodynamics, and skinny tires, so there is no comparison).

tell me about it...other Supra owners ask me why i'm only putting down 430WHP and tease me for still being on the stock twin turbos lol...seriously though, at 430WHP, i'm sure i have one of the least powerful Supras on the road...

To be fair I used wheel numbers, but still... Combine that with the new gearing and it's a completely different beast than before.

My Car has never been dynoed at the crank so this is at the wheels for a 2400 pound car
8.9 Pounds/HP (At the wheels)
7.9 Pounds/Pounds Feet (At the wheels)
Better still is that I get 35 MPG on the highway abnd 22 City MPG

New car is about 14.3 on paper.
240 HP and 3450 lbs. In reality the engine probably has around 275 so could be 12.5.

As I said before, whoever spec'ed the stock tires on the final production car should be in jail right now.

Going to the Michelin PSSs has helped quite a bit. I didn't go wider yet. I want to keep the stock turning feel for the time being. We'll see later.
The official claim is that it was left that way for steering, but who knows.

2.24 in my GSXR 1000 with flywheel horsepower
3.59 when you take into RWHP + my weight (170), which is a more real world number.
I couldn't imagine a BMW s1000RR - taking flywheel HP into account with a tune, it would be 1.95

In an anabolic state, "my" horsepower would be measured between 2 and 3 HP. I weigh about 300 pounds. So, somewhere between 100 to 150 pounds per HP.
My car has a ratio of 18.2:1 (3140 pounds, 173hp)
If my car is loaded up to the gvwr with people and "stuff" 4150 and I'm towing a 2000 pound load, then the power/weight ratio is around 35.5.
