My laptop (vintage 2005) is running XP Professional.
MY desktop is running Vista Ultimate.
My wife's desktop is running Win 7 Home.

I have a copy of Windows 7 Ultimate that I'm going to use for my desktop when I replace the HDD's.

I have an older Win 98se pc also for older games. I have a laptop with Vista, a laptop with WIN 7, a desktop with dual boot Vista/XP (basement PC), a desktop with dual boot XP/WIN 7 (hers), and a desktop with dual boot XP/Vista (spare gamer), and also my main rig is just WIN 7.
I will download WIN 8 for both of our main computers as it's cheap, but won't install it as I don't really like it.

Running Windows 7 on all 4 of our machines. Don't currently see the need to bother with upgrading.

I put XP since that's what we run at work, and that's what I was running until I switched to Linux. Running Xubuntu 11.10 right now. I did try 7 for like a month, I liked it, but I had been wanting to switch to Linux for a while and while trying to setup dual boot it crapped out and I ended up just sticking with Linux. It's kinda like the situation of slowing going into the lake because the water is cold and someone pushes you in, and it's not that bad once you're in. I did end up buying another SSD and putting 7 on it for gaming but I rarely boot into it. It got maybe 10 hours.

I can't believe that many people are using 8. Did not figure the adoption would be that quick. It was not that quick for 7 from XP and 7 is actually a good OS.

At home: 2 x Windows 7, 1x Ubuntu/Windows XP, 1x slackware

Slackware is up 24/7 doing home server duties (as well as game server & ventrilo server)

Windows boxes are HTPC and Gaming box
Dual boot box is an older computer I almost never turn on.

For the most part, I'm just glad people are finally moving off XP. That OS is horribly outdated compared to Vista/7/8

Sadly not true for as many businesses though. XP->7 is a huge jump that most don't seem to be willing to tackle. Could be worse though, at least they chose to get off NT4 and 98 at one point, maybe they'll eventually get off XP.
