Why? Why would I take part in the but they do it too bullshit? Ive come to the conclusion that both parties have things I agree with and things I dont. And for me, one party has more things than the other of things I agree with.

Yep. There used to be about a dozen or so relatively moderate posters around here so one could distill a decent conversation from the crazy. Now it's just as you describe. I can count the moderates on one hand and they don't post as often.

Can't say I blame them. If I post any thread even remotely pro-Republican I get called names and/or ignored. I find it funny that I can consistently squeeze a decent conversation out a thread, after I endure about 2 pages of carefully responding to name calling and maneuvering my "opponents" out of their bullshit and down to the core of the issue. But at the end of the day they're still not going to change or teach me anything of value. So what's the point?

This place is a shill battle ground. Let 'em rot and serve as a reminder of how superior your life is.

Exactly. We saw this in the Fox News coverage with GOP operative Karl Rove. He was refusing reality and one of the Fox News anchors accidentally asked if he was using math to make himself feel better as a republican or if it was real.

They admitted to it on air. They have their own reality that makes them feel better.
