Not even luke warm price wise.
Yes, it is.
If that's the lowest price to be found. it is a hot deal for that item

You can get Samsung 840's for less, just saying size to price this isn't a great deal. Microcenter even has a 128gb Crucial M4 for less, that's not even a sale price.
The discussion here is for an OCZ Vector not a Samsung or a Crucial

Right, but those are different products...I can't seem to find a better deal than this on a OCZ vector so the price does seem to be pretty hot for this particular drive.

This price is not impressive. Just because it's the best price right now hardly qualifies it as a Hot Deal.
Yes, it does.
If that's the lowest price to be found it is a hot deal for that item

This mean Samsung 840 (non pro) is better than Vector?

Vectors are supposed to be a high end drive. I wish someone would do an endurance test on it. I wonder if it stacks up to the 840 pro in reliability since they are identical in price.

The Vector is somewhat faster; certainly not something you'd notice in everyday use.

To half the posters in this thread.
This vector Drive is DIRECTLY comparable to a Samsung Pro 840, NOT a non-pro 840.
Yes it is very much a deal as would be a Pro 840 at this price.
If you think otherwise I suggest you bother actually reading reviews over this drive.
Say for example...

Edit: For those that prefer Amazon to the Egg, they have now matched the price.

Exactly. If an 840 Pro dropped to this price, everyone would go crazy about it. When it's only competitor drops to this price, everyone think's it's a bad deal. Doesn't really make sense.

I wouldn't, but I guess to other people this is a hot deal. That's all that matters.

840 non pro? Lol!
The Vector is a top tier SSD competing head to head with the 840 Pro.
This is a good price for a Vector

While the price might have been good, I think the OP should have commented in the beginning that this drive compares to the Samsung 840 Pro. Most people associate OCZ with cheap, crappy drives, and it will be a while before they lose that reputation.
