I don't know how people can grind to the 110 without the M58, it really transforms the M103 into a good T9.
Arty just makes you their bitch, though. Zero armor means zero HE mitigation...

I free-exp'd the good 120mm. There are few things worse than grinding a tier 9 tank with a subpar gun.

Right now with the 30% credit earning increase the M103 is fun to play in the sense when you die and team loses its just break even. If team wins and you die you make some money. If team wins and you survive you make much more money. Basically the 30% increase makes it tolerable. Of course arty still ruins the game but with no worry of losing money its not too bad unless you are the type that worries about win/loss rate stats. At least I'm earning xp for the next tank and crew is enhancing their skills as well. Without the 30% credit increase I'd only be playing this tank once a day for the X2 daily xp.

I've been getting racked a lot more lately -- not sure if it's how I'm playing my 103 or what. Just seems excessive since 8.5.

I got racked 2/10 games in my T-54 last week. Really need the medium crew to finish up and then go into safe stowage...

Picked up the KV-5 in the sale last weekend? and I have to say I'm not regretting it one bit! Very fun tank for those that like heavies!

It's too easy to pop that weak armor bubble on the front of the tank.

M103 just has a huge ammo rack area in general. The frontal turret cheeks, when you pen, have racks right behind them. The whole entire side and back of the turret is also racky and has gigantic hit zones. Slightest turn of the turret and you're exposing your rear ammo racks.
I ran wet ammo racks on my m103 because it was so bad. As a result I never got ammo rack explosions ever... but still got damage racks every other game.

Yeah, I guess it's just the tank -- takes some getting used to. Almost like running the Type.

Shhhhh!
We don't talk about that.
Seriously though it's not that bad if you learn how to protect it.

It's the bigger of the two.

You know I don't even want to know what it takes to get Ace Tanker in the KV-3....
Those medals would be Steel Wall, Defender, Top Gun, Cool-Headed, Kolobanov's Medal, and Pascucci’s Medal. I was alone against 6 enemies... (my team sucked except for 1 other guy).

I protect it by driving backwards. It sounds insane but it works lol
