While he's a King's Guard prior to the show in the show he's happily doing the Lannister's bidding he may as well be one as far as his allegiance goes/

*heh* funny you should coin that as there is a character who may or may not end up in the show. Yeah GRR Martin is still adding characters and even more plots.

One of them is referred to in a similar way, with an F placed at the start of his name because of speculation as to his "realness" in a certain aspect.
