I would recommend the I5 2500K, it will clock higher and have lower temps. The 3570K isnt even faster, I think clock for clock its like a 3% improvement, but it cant clock as high.

The only performance difference is in the iGPU, which if you are buying a K series processor you will probably be using a discrete GPU anyway.

That is my exact setup (minus the 670) and I love it.

No point getting the 2500K. 3570K will perform the same but with lower power consumption and PCIe 3.0 compatibility which is a small bonus for dual GPU setups. Asrock Z77 Extreme4 is a SLI/Crossfire board - if you use two graphics cards one day, it'd be unfortunate to be limited to PCIe 2.0.

Agreed, unless you're able to snag a 2500k at a steep discount compared to a 3570k, 3570k is certainly the way to go.

In my opinion ASRock gets better with each new cpu intel puts out.
My asrock x58 had the worst voltage droop of 0.150v with the llc on but for $81 it turned good buy.
I should have never bought a asrock pro3 do to the low phases and poor cooling I tie backed a fan on wb to cool the mosfets then it ran a 2500k to 5000MHz.
Now the Extreme 4 at $105 turned out to be a excellent cheap mb that lacks a few extras.
