26" Hanns-G monitor on the Egg - to buy or not to buy
Hey guys, debating whether to get this monitor or not. The number of reviews with dead pixels makes me pause, though. Newegg reviews aside, how is Hanns-G quality in general? Would be doing a lot of gaming on it. It's a monster...26", 1080p

Anyone who has had/got a 27" 2560x1440 will tell you a 27" 1920x1080 is a terrible decision. Anyone who a 27" 1920x1080 whos never seen a 27" 2560x1400 will tell you they are amazing.

The short screen is very often not accommodated well, cutting stuff off the bottom in games and web pages. I just stopped using a 1440x1050 that I had on a media pc (has HDMI for bluray playback preview when the big screen isn't on). Its fine for watching a movie, generally terrible for text or web stuff or games.
I got it hooked up, and it has a dead pixel gonna try to revive it. It's a pretty nice monitor otherwise.

gonna try to revive it. It's a pretty nice monitor otherwise.
