Canon a2400 vs Samsung wb150f

For my mom. Nothing crazy. Canon was 69.99. Samsung is 89.99
Is the Samsung worth the extra 20 bucks? I know it has a better zoom, just looking for the camera with the best image quality and better low light pictures

The sensors are the same size. Apertures are pretty close - neither is particularly good. The biggest difference is that the Samsung is 18x zoom (and therefore a larger camera because of the lens) and the Canon is 5x zoom.

What I couldn't find is what the apertures are at various focal lengths. They start at 2.8 and end at about 5.8 or so.

If size is more important, get the Canon. If zoom reach is more important, get the Samsung.

Those prices are crazy cheap, though!
