I remember "building" the Lafayette, IN store while I was at Purdue.
They hired a bunch of us to install and stock shelves, then to stay on as permanent employees, if we wished.
Our employee orientation was a propaganda video about how they pushed competing toy stores (Children's Palace, local Mom & Pop) out of business and became the world's largest toy store.

What comes around goes around.

I work at the Arlington Hts. store and I can tell you that Niles won't be going anywhere. It is an 'A' volume store, the highest possible, and consistently does well. The close date on our store is scheduled for Feb. 25, so price cuts should get more agressive very quickly. That said, the stock is going fast too, so don't hold out too long for stuff you want.

Do you guys have PC games too? BTW, sorry to hear that it's just your store... i've been in that one a few times, and it always seemed much cleaner and organized than the Niles one, by far
