In case you need drivers -> http://developer.android.com/tools/extras/oem-usb.html

For browsing folders it shouldn't be necessary on Win 7/8, but if you want to do more.

Very good choice the best 7 inch tablet for the money right now. Also since it is a nexus don't have to worry about the OEM junking it up with skins and having to resort to downloading roms for updates.

I use my Galaxy Tab 2 7" and love it. Yes, its not too fast but its built tough and its pretty cheap. I read on it all the time. Tech manuals and the like. For sub 200 bucks its pretty damn good. I bought it because compared to other tablets like it the IR remote and dual speakers and music playback sold me. This thing actually has very decent sound quality and I use the remote control software to control my home AV system.
