I do almost exclusively DB. Every exercise except:

Leg press (used to do barbell squats but now have pain coming out of the bottom on my right MCL).
Leg curl
Tricep weighted dips
Weighted pullups
Cable crossover
barbell deadlift.

I don't do:

Barbell bench press
Barbell ____... (About the only barbell exercise I recommend is the deadlift and squat)

All barbells do is allow for the stronger side to make up for the weaker, and to not use the stabilizer muscles. If you want to stat/e-stat, barbells are for you. If you want to grow large slabs of meat- DBs.
