I've got a 750GB version in my MBP for approx. 4 months and no issues. 500GB version in the wife's MB for a couple of years now and still going strong.

There's no reason to go with any other mechanical laptop HDD with these on the market. And at this price, wow.

got 2 for my laptop. have a regular 7200 500gb and a 320 gb 7200 drive.

also had a $20 gift card so got them for $85

In for one. I've had one of these running in my son's desktop for quite some time, and no complaints. It blows away all the other mechanical laptop (and desktop!) hard drives you can get at this price.
