Worth it for the first two movies alone.
Throw the other two in the trash where they belong.

Thanks, and for some reason I had a 10.00 promotion applied to mine along with the free one day shipping when paying with a Discover card, mine was only 9.99 + tax.

It does have 6 - the other 2 are additional extras on top of all the extras for each movie. There is tons of additional content if you're a fan.
This is a great deal for this. The Blu-Ray transfer of Alien is the best you'll find. It looks very good.

After seeing the blu-ray transfers of old movies like Alien and Close Encounter of the 3rd Kind, you come to realize how lazy/cheap studios really are when it comes to blu-ray release. I've seen some atrocious transfers of 80s, 90s, and even 2k films.
Excellent deal on this bundle. If you treat the last two movies as spinoffs (not canon) they are mildly entertaining.

I'm one of the few who actually kind of liked the 3rd one. Not nearly as good as the first two, but I don't consider it as the same pile of garbage the 4th one is. I think I might just be biased because of the director.
Still... I have the quadrilogy sitting on my shelf never to be seen past the first couple times yet I still kind of want this.

Nice timing. Just watched Prometheus this week, added the Alien lineup to my Netflix queue as a result. (Have seen most of the first but none of the others.)
Now won't have to wait on disks plus get better quality picture.
Thankies!

Regardless on how some may feel about the other two films in this series - this is a steal...
\got in on a deal awhile back for this - the collection is easily worth the cash....

The Godfather Trilogy is also only 20 bucks on Amazon. Good stocking stuffer, for me!

damn... this is a great and I jumped in last night (thanks OP)
but to get it over $25 for free shipping I added Prometheus (which I might have waited to get on sale in the future)
and now I see I could have added Godfather Trilogy for only $20
it's too easy to click confirm order

I find it amusing / annoying that in the UK, rather than the $19 USD you're getting as an offer (£11.95), the "offer" here is £19, so $30 USD.
For the people who don't like 3/4, why not wait for the prices for each movie to drop to bargain bucket levels and pick them up separately then?
It's Aliens that I would like to have a crisper version of, but by all accounts the fault with that movie is the film it was originally recorded on. My DVD of Alien is pretty tolerable.
