What type of virus/worm/roach infested neighborhood do y'all run your computer in anyhows?
I haven't needed anything but a cheap home router, some free AV and built-in Windows firewall since XP SP2

Inbound routers are great... outbound... not so much

SPI can only do so much. Inbound it will handel not outboad. Windows Firewall is like SPI in that sense. You need a product that blocks gratuitous ARP frames, protect the ARP cache and can anylize the protocol's. If only the feds took this approach...
