Sure, her schtick leans towards low-brow but it is not unclever and is always well executed. I have enjoy'd her stand-up and television programme. That said, her "girlish" voice does become increasingly incongruous and grating with her age.

No, it's because the image orientation would be flagged wrong and she wouldn't be able to do the trick when the phone's orientation sensor compensated for it being vertical. It would shrink and rotate with the majority of the screen black and the "va-jay-jay" horizontal.

I feel pretty much the same way, which is a little baffling since she's smart and funny. As a previous poster pointed out, I think a huge part of it is her voice, but there's more, and like you, I can't quite put my finger on it.

So the network decided they needed to censor the phone but had no issue with zooming in and holding on her crotch? One would have to assume that had the phone not been there that they could have taped the rest of the show with nothing but a continuous crotch shot.
