The tunnels are no big deal. The only time I got claustrophobic was floating on my back with a wire cage 3-6 inches above the water pulling myself through the water using my hands on the cage. I think I just went too fast at the beginning, got water in my eyes and my mouth and couldn't see anything, most importantly the end of the cage.

Electric shocks were not nearly as bad as I expected. Like a hard punch to the arm, but the pain goes away immediately.

Fun times, but I'm in far, far more pain this morning than I was last time in Vegas.

I hope they have the fenced water obstacle at the Michigan Tough Mudder that looked awesome from the pics I saw.

Nice work! I have a bunch of friends that did the Phoenix one. I still haven't signed up for Michigan's since I'm not sure if I'll be here.

Sorry but there is just not enough running in these things to make it worth the money to me. But this is just my insignificant opinion, I know lots of people love these mud runs.

My brother bought some pics. This is the only one with all of us in it. The 'before' pic.

So do it, finish quickly, and then go compete in World's Toughest Mudder and you can run as much as you want.

Hey last bump.

The mid Atlantic tough mudder was quite hilly, highs in the mid to upper 50s, with wind gusting at times to 25mph. Overall my wife and I had a food time. We could hardly walk back the buses after the course but we managed.

Sadly though, there was a death at our event and more than few other injuries reported.
