I decided that the CPU will join the loop. XSPC water block has been ordered!
I'll report temps once everything is put together.

IT IS DONE AND IT WORKS!!!
Here's some pics...
Video card temps under full load are about 60C. Haven't tested the CPU temps yet.
I want to give my thanks to everyone who contributed to this thread. All your posts helped me build my first water cooled system. Again, many thanks!!

Excellent job man. Looks really good.
Also welcome to the watercooling club. Try to hold off the itch to replace and redo things, it is a slippery slope. Soon you'll have a bigger case, more radiators, more pumps, multiple loops...

OK i think i understand what people say they want LED's for watercooling now...
I see that they brought them back in full force.
Guys if u have lights... IE.. Bright LED's u MUST RUN SILVER.
There is no ESCAPE from Algae unless u run silver.
If you have no silver, you must visually inspect your tubing for any brown or red or green deposits every 2-3 months...
A Coolant Flush is also recommended every 3-6 months.
This is why we had a dark period where we ditched LED's.
The spectrum for Algae is quite broad which states..
Blue => Depends on the Blue spectrum.... but mostly No...
Green => Yes, algae wont grow in green, they are green to reflect green light.
Yellow => No, anything which has Red / White = NO!
White => Definitely NO
Red => Asking for it...algae raid incoming!!!
Some color tubing may help you avoid it..
However some wont... its best to visually inspect your tubing for any type of discoloration on the inside.
The moment u have discoloration, it will probably mean your waterblock is clogged with brown stuff... and ur in for a suprise when you clean your parts out.

Glad to see you got it up and running
Adding in the CPU was a wise choice as it makes it looks so much better!

Is this silver coil good enough? I'm thinking about just dropping it in my res. For $7 why not?

Looks a lot better than my first attempt at watercooling. Didn't use the blue LED on my Raystorm. The cable was stiff and difficult to hide for a clean look.

Its definitely worth it. I only use silver coils with distilled water and it has kept my water clear for more than 6 months. I jammed it in the tubing near the reservoir but taking it out is difficult. Probably dumping it in the reservoir works too.

yes it works.
silver gets stronger as coolant ages cuz the ions leech from the aggressive nature of distilled.

Op, if you have a thermometer place it into the water and leave the gpu's working for 30 minutes. That temperature minus your room temperature is your delta and its the key metric to tell you how well things will go with your CPU in the loop.
