Default Prebuilt nettop

Looking to buy a prebuilt nettop for my mother to use.

uses will be web surfing (checking email, flash video games), word processing, listening to music, video playback.

will be buying in US. using a 19 inch monitor. planning to buy in about a month.

i thought those died with netbooks. why not just get a pentium machine from best buy for $300 that will have 10 times the power? that acer nettop isnt even that cheap since it doesnt have windows

The Acer looks as good as any for what you need.
Bumping up the memory and swapping out the spinning platters for a SSD would bring it to life.

Wow, that actually looks pretty good! Looks like it uses a mobile Celeron 887 which is a dual core Sandy Bridge.

i dont really like best buy and looking for something that consumes less power + smaller physical footprint
