ASROCK Z68 EXTREME3 GEN3 & windows 8 drivers
Does anyone have a clue as to when (if ever) Drivers & Utilitys are coming out for Windows8, for this MoBo?

well i'm not sure. I have not upgraded to windows8 yet because when I go to ASRocks site they have all the drivers & Utilitys for all the boards that are Windows8 x64 compatible. They have the drivers & utilitys(they stop at their Z77 boards when it comes to win8).But my board (Z68 Extreme3 Gen3) they have stopped at aparently. So i'm hung out to dry unless i kickup to their Z77 line I think. but here is what I may need to get upto snuff on my board with win8 64 bit.

Realtek high definition audio driver
CIR receiver driver
INF driver ver
Intel Management Engine driver
Intel Rapid Start driver
Intel Smart Connect driver
Broadcom Lan driver
AppCharger
ASMedia SATA3 Driver
Intel Rapid Storage Technology driver
Etron USB 3.0 driver
VGA driver

Windows 8 got most if not all the drivers. Else windows 7 drivers works as well.

Alternatively if you want the latest drivers. You can just download them at Intels and any other manyfactors site of the components.

I'm not trying to debate what ShintaiDK says,you might be able to find those drivers on a website. But my experience with some of the other boards, including my socket 2011 board has proved to be fruitless when it comes to finding some of the drivers for windows 8 leaving some of my components useless. So gone is the windows 8 and back to 7 until these are readily and easily available. Sorry, but this is my opinion. If you don't see them on the motherboards website, or can't find them by typing in the needed drivers from the list you already have then I wouldn't take a chance with the upgrade.

I also had your same preocupations, I contacted support almost a week ago an they gave me the following reply:

At this moment ASRock is waiting for Microsoft to provide certification for windows 8 drivers.
Please visit our website in the next coming weeks for updates.

Everything works except for XFAST USB and RAM. (Tried on W7 compatibility mode and didnt work either)

Feature I dont use so dont know if its working is the aux bypass and AXTU.

My specs are:

ASrock Extreme 3 Gen 3
Intel 2500k
XFX 6870

No problems with any drivers at all. except for those mentioned above (XFAST)
