As I sit here spraying my work boots with SCOTCHGUARD that I purchased at Walmart for $4.95, I thought, neat product, perhaps I should throw away my $4.95 Scotchguard and purchase the same thing for $65.

no... youd still have to wash. the military does it by infusing the cloth with silver. bacteria doesnt grow on it, so it never smells. so they say..

I thought Scotchguard was for couches.

Mink oil or Sno Seal for work boots. Ultra Ever Dry doesn't sound as durable.
