Laptop won't turn on
Laptop of about 1 year, will not power on when the power button is pushed.
Fully charged, plugged in, not plugged in. etc. All tested and it will not turn on.
Few nights ago I did get lucky and turn it on, however once only a few keys on the keyboard registered with the laptop, and the rest no matter how pushed, was not registered and wouldn't type.
Other than that one random time, it just does not turn on when the power button is press, or held.
Any ideas what is going on?

Sounds like water damage. Did it just stop working all of a sudden or is there more history behind this?

Nothing was spilled on it, and dropped? Maybe, but if so we are talking like 3 feet or something.
Model and brand I cannot look up at this moment at work, but can add to it later.

Sure sound like a water spill, pop open the keyboard and see if there is any stains there.

It isn't though ... because it worked fine for a long while. nevr had drinks around it.
Then one time it just didn't want to turn on.

You might try popping the hard drive and CD/DVD drive out of it and then trying to boot it to see if it allows you to get to the BIOS setup.

A 3 foot drop? That can loosen or dislodge the CPU. Include it on the reseast list.
