Im building my brother a new desktop and before we order all the parts tonight I was wondering if anyone had any input on this. What hes going to use the computer for is mostly sound editing and playing some games here and there like diablo 3. So here's the parts him and I picked out.
Motherboard: ASRock B75M-DGS LGA 1155 micro ATX
HDD : WD blue 500GB 7200 rpm
PSU: Corsair CX 430w bronze
RAM: Undecided, im trying to find a good compatible one, was wondering if we could get some help on that. I found some good 2x2GB ram thats compatible with it but its not on the websites list for compatible ram, not sure if I should go by that list strictly or not. Edit: Im thinking this Corsair ram, even though its not on the list. http://www.newegg.com/Product/Produc...82E16820145260
CPU: Intel i5-3470 Ivy Bridge lga 1155 3.2Ghz
GPU: Zotac Synergy edition Geforce GT 610 1GB
OS: Windows 7
Case: NZXT Source 210 Elite white steel. Mid tower
CD drive: one of those cheap $20 asus ones, nothing important.
So, what do you guys think? Im guessing theres going to be some bottlenecking in between the GPU and CPU for this build. If you guys have any suggestions for changes that'd be great. Also neither of us plan on overclocking it, since were probably sticking with the stock cooler too.
