Only 7 flavors of 775 mobos left at Newegg.
Will the ASRock 865G-based board be the last one left on the market? I guess we will see in a couple of months. I was really surprised to see the BIOSTAR 775 G41 board gone.

maybe it has something to do with chipsets no longer being made? hence companies can't find parts to keep producing boards.

you might think so, but where is Asrock getting their relatively ancient 865G chipsets from then?
My understanding is that Intel continues to to produce things like chipsets on older, depreciated, fab lines, because they are mostly pure profit at that point.

They just happened to be the last stockpile which just never get sold out because the already low demand gets lesser and lesser every year.
That's my guess anyway.

Lol, the Intel one sure doesn't seem to have many buyers. You'd expect a satisfied customer or two to show up; I know most happy customers don't review things.

I should stockpile 775 G41 mobos, they are needed for PC service, i hope biostar G41 would be available, last week i paid ~31e for it from the local importer, now waiting for new import
Any info about shortage or stoped production (i hope not) is welcomed....
Asrock is overpriced here
