I think gun nuts and gun dealers secretly love when talk of new regulations surfaces. Lots of $$$ to be made from all the saps panic buying.

This. I cannot remember another thread that brought out so much shrieking stupid as this. Again, I'm generally pro-gun, but I mostly stay out of 2nd Amendment discussions because its most vocal proponents are hilariously brain damaged and batshit crazy. I don't want to be lumped together with them.
By the way, the title of this thread is an outright lie. Adding a question mark at the end (Fox style) doesn't make it less dishonest. Biden didn't suggest anything whatsoever about repealing the 2nd Amendment. He said the administration is going to act against gun VIOLENCE using some combination of executive order and legislation. (Yes, that's what he said. Try reading all the words.) This paranoid raving about repealing the 2nd just makes you look like fools.

You're referring to an extreme group that happens to have some of their views fall in line with main stream liberal views. Look at this thread, it's filled with the main stream conservative view sounding paranoid and insane. And I actually have watched Penn and Teller Bullshit a couple times, and the problem is that the show is bullshit. He (whichever is the one that talks) gets facts wrong all the time and thinks if he yells loud enough that makes him right, he's trying to be a less crazy sounding Glenn Beck but he's wrong more often than he's right.

Actually until it is PROPOSED, that's a far cry from waiting until it has taken effect.

Riiight, when it's your team, it's just some extreme group, nothing to do your team. But Spidey going insane about Obama is representative of the whole.
It's people like you that reaffirm my choice to avoid mainstream thinking altogether. Most people = idiots. Most people = mainstream. The mainstream = idiots. Congratulations on choosing one brandy of idiocy over another.

The nuts generally aren't selling, unless they have duplicates of certain firearms. The dealers have already blown through the obvious stock (any semi-auto rifle and all common calibers of rifle ammo) and the larger frame handguns are going now. Soon they'll all be sitting around in empty stores if they aren't already.

Aside from the obvious hyperbole of the OP I would bet Obama is going to use an EO to get his new gun ban/magazine restriction enacted, and he wants one really badly and has nothing to lose so it's going to happen...just sucks that I am low on ammo right now and can't seem to find any

I love how it's branded "insanity" to speculate that the government might just do something that isn't in the best interests of [group].
Today's example: gun owners!

He's floating a proposal. Sending up a trial balloon?
By reacting with fervor his opposition is letting him know that he can go fuck himself if he thinks it won't be strenuously opposed.

Hardcore Gun Owners are less Independent than Pavlov's dog. There's going to be a huge spike in Gun/Ammo Sales, people spending money best spent elsewhere, Gun Manufacturers making $Big, and nothing significant will happen from Obama, nevermind Repealing part of the fucking Constitution by signing a piece of paper with some words on it.
Grab a Brain morans.

But he's not. What you're doing is the equivalent of when the BCS said they would look at options to fix the problems, you crying that they were gonna end college football as a sport and cancel all scholarships. It's an extreme overreaction and insinuation of something that hasn't even been close to hinted at.
And yes BoberFett, my side is fucking better. Spidey would have been an extreme example 10 or maybe even 5 years ago, but his brand of crazy has become to main stream of conservatives. Twenty years ago a group as crazy and extreme as the Tea Party would have never even made the local news, now they have multiple members in Congress helping force crazy as fuck policy.

Reauthorization of the Defense Budget... Every president does it.
Introduced in the Bush Administration. Why no cries for impeachment then?
Again, I will give you that one, but lets face it Awlaki was a piece of sh!t.

Here is the correct and unbias information about Kathleen Sebelius statement to insurers
The Obama administration, which maintains that health system reform will add no more than 1% to 2% to the cost of premiums, reacted angrily to claims by nonprofit BlueCross BlueShield-affiliated insurers and for-profit insurers -- compiled in a Sept. 8 article in The Wall Street Journal -- that coverage requirements under health system reform are responsible for as much as a 9% increase in proposed individual rates for 2011.
"I urge you to inform your members that there will be zero tolerance for this type of misinformation and unjustified rate increases," Dept. of Health and Human Services Secretary Kathleen Sebelius wrote in a Sept. 9 letter to Karen Ignagni, president and CEO of America's Health Insurance Plans, the insurers' trade group.

So she told the industry not to spin lies or misinform. Hmmm sounds like you missed the bus on this one.

LOL! So the obama administration threatens free industry and 1st amendment to not make the obama admin look bad?
Say it isn't so! That's never happened with this corrupt administration.
And then we have the administration threaten to bypass the 2nd amendment via EO...so there you have it. The rights of people being tramped upon by this administration.
I have sent your post to ATTACK WAAAAAAAATCH! and flag@whitehouse.gov
