Default Help With Screen Brightness

Hello,

My Lenovo Z480, running Windows 7 Home Premium, isn't changing the brightness when I connect to charger or when running battery...
Any suggestions?

To be more clear, when you connect your laptop to the charger, and in the power plan you chose a plan (balanced for ex: when running battery; 50% / when running ac; 100% ) this is what I meant by brightness not changing.
But when I click FN + arrow up (for increase brightness) or arrow down (decrease brightness), the brightness increases/decreases and shows the box..

Thank You,
Ara

Just "FN + arrow down" it to 80% or whatever you would like, let it stay like this.

Dont have hands on access to Lenovo, but models pretty much all work the same.

Look in your power management settings and there should be separate power management settings for when on battery or when on external/adapter power. Make sure these are customized differently. Also check the BIOS, as sometimes option is provided for screen control there also.
