Default Which American city should be Forbidden? Its official! Detroit is The Forbidden City

Whichever city is determined to be 'forbidden' by us must be immediately evacuated and then left to rot.

It will then be referred to as America's Forbidden City.

I think we should forbid Detroit.

Considering its mostly abandoned and rotting that will be an easy thing to do. When its completely empty we can use it as an urban warfare training ground.

Most declining manufacturing cities in the midwest. Detroit is a prime example, just because it's a bit further along the decline.

Was going to say Detroit too, but then decided New Orleans. Why? Well it's below sea level, naturally, it should just be a big body of water. The only reason it's not is because of man made levis and other measures taken.

Perhaps, but we need to make it official. After a declaration by the president that it is in fact "forbidden", we wall off the downtown area. We then send our worst criminals there and let them fend for themselves in closed off environment in which cooperation and kinship are essential to survive.

Then we can allow a VIPs plane to crash in The Forbidden City and send in Snake Plissken to rescue him. Everything will be filmed. We will call this event, "Escape from Detroit".

Lol, I just left work in Maywood. I'm lucky I only have to go to the edge of Brookfield right next to Maywood for work. It is a dump there and the people are truly special.

Miami. The whole state it's in should drop off into the ocean along with it.

That was my first and fastest thought, but...settled on D.C., with the caveat:

where would you evacuate the people living in these "forbidden cities"?

what will happen to the cities that they are then evacuated to?

Who didn't think "detroit" the moment they read the titel?
