Money Management
Money Management is not what school teaches you...
Recently, not people do manage money, but money do manage people...
Someones $1 spent for luck turned to death, for someone - other peoples luck will mean a jail...
I would suggest, before you buy a lotto:
Check, what happens to people, when they win big...
And remember...people will empty pockets will always say: "They'll will know what to do with money if they win..."
In most cases, when a money bags drops in front of you...Most of us will loose our minds...
And..for those, a few successful: "Welcome To Billionaires(or Millionaires) Club..".
It means, that "Get Rich Quick Scheme" worked for you....

You mean winning the lottery doesn't make you smarter?
Intelligent people that play for entertainment tend to do well with the money. Stupid people that play because they're broke tend to do poorly. Stays the same whether it's lottery, inheritance, sports contracts, etc.

If you smart..actually, I like more word: "Wise" than "smart"... - you don't need to play lottery...
Just think for yourself...
Do Bill Gates, Warren Buffet...etc play lotto?
Who do play lotto? Who's pockets are empty or who want to become rich in a moment...
Good Luck...

Fire that medical examiner!
how the hell is cyanide not an unusual substance? especially in an amount that can kill a grown man?!

I'm good with money and I've played/won lottery multiple times. It's simply entertainment for me...I don't need the winnings. Using probability you can have a good chance of winning. Reinvest and see how long you can go. Example: http://www.us-lotteries.com/info/GroupsOf3DigGames.asp

LOL, that's the first thing I thought too. How could you not screen for cyanide?

that's the difference. I play when its insanely high (the 500mill one was nice). I know i won't win. but it's fun and a loss of $2 won't kill me.
The people who use it as a "retirement" plan are the ones that need help.

Thats a bad miss, even without a blood test Cyanide poisoning leaves tell tale signs. Probably was in a rush and wanted to go out that night.

The cost might not be worth it vs the frequency of it occurring.
I remember seeing a show about some lady who did in her husband by lacing his Excedrin with cyanide which got ruled natural causes. Then because she would get more if it was accidental instead of natural she poisoned several other bottles, put it back in the store, and when the news hit about it told the police she thought her husband died the same way... She would have gotten away if she would have settled for a mere 75k instead of 175k.

Dude, if you don't play your chance of winning is 0! Buying tickets is obviously an infinitely better choice.
I've only ever bought lottery tickets when an office pool formed for a very high one and any chance of my whole office leaving next week with me being left to do everything was not worth the risk so I bought into it ^.^

You will be surprised if you watch some of those murder shows how much stuff can get fudged.

1/3 of the murders that are known go unsolved... yea, pretty scary.
