I'll chime in since I have experience with it. There is a tea called Yogi Detox which is good and I also recommend SAMe tablets if you want to help your joints as well.
Best thing to cleanse your liver though is a low fat diet, perhaps even going Raw Vegan. Another way is exercise. I was diagnosed with a failing liver last year and had all sorts of health problems, from really strange rashes and allergies to depression. I've found that changing ones diet as well as doing a lot of exercise. I went to a vegetarian lifestyle and have found myself to be a lot happier as a person since doing so, and my health has been a lot better. Exercise wise, I walk 4-7 miles a day to get the weight off. I was morbidly obese at 272lbs but am down to 199lbs as we speak. Walking is great for getting one's health back into line. You have to get ones mindset into a pre internet age mindset as people weren't always as big as they were. My goal weight is 160lbs which is actually on the low side for my height(they say that 174 is an ideal weight but thats on the high side of the range).
