the new one is the u2713hm. it has been out for a while now, i almost bought one but went for the pb278q instead:

loving that thing! beautiful picture, no dead pixs, extremely small backlight bleed

Do you have to do any adjusting to the DPI or any other scaling?

do you mean for 1080p? i havent really used it to watch any bluerays or hd whatnots, just playing games and using apps at the native 2560x1440 resolution. loving all that real estate! also like the fact that the DPI is larger than on my old 24" soyo (108 vs 94)
