Probably played them all. I actually "beat" pitfall. Took months of mapping out every single board and using the shortcuts and scorpion jumping.
What? No Indiana Jones?

Raiders of the Lost Ark was probably the best Atari 2600 game IMO (Adventure is another favorite). God damn, I miss those days.

I remember River Raid, brings back fun memories. Got my Atari for Christmas when I was probably 4, and freaked out.

When asteroids came out me and my best friend (he still is) played all night into morning. Same with space invaders. Damn our hands and wrists hurt. I guess we were 10 maybe? 41 years old now.
Activision made all the kick ass games back then. If it was activision, you knew it was gonna be good.
I'm sure one of the original ones is at my dads place buried somewhere. Back when it was just Atari.

Ahhh. Nostalgia. Those dragons in Adventure were so realistic that I could feel the fire coming from the Curtis Mathis TV!

Played all those too but the first I remember that you missed was Air Sea Battle (we played it at a baby sitter's place). You also missed Video Pinball. I recognized Adventure, SwordQuest, and many others from Angry Video Game Nerd.

We didn't get one until like 1981, so we enjoyed about one year of thinking it was the shiznit until Intellivision II (which played Atari 2600 cartridges) and especially ColecoVision came out, which of course, most my friends got. Around 1983, my parents said we could either get another game console or a C64 but we couldn't have both. So I chose C64...score!

I never had an Atari. I had an Intellivision first & the Colecovision later. Colecovision was the bomb back then.

I still have most of those games and a wood grain Atari in my basement. The controllers and the RF converter are long gone though

amazing how they could get it so right (combat, super breakout) and get it so wrong (E.T.). i wish i still had my copy of E.T., THE worst video game the world will ever see.
public service announcement:
don't buy 80 atari classics or whatever it's called on steam. it just plain doesn't work.
