Question Win 8 Upgrage

I just have upgraded to Win 8 Pro 64 Bit; from Win 7 64 Bit Pro.
Getting into huge learning curve. This OS differently tuned for Tablet \
and maybe for LapTop.
Not having a Start menu is a Drag...........
However it boots up faster. I had to reinstall the Video Card drivers.
Now I have a problem; except my account (Admin) and I also upgraded from
this account. All other accounts do not have a Built in weather App! Any reason why it wouldn't have it ?
I have two other account which I need to have it.
Thanks

Have you tried searching for "weather" apps while in the other accounts and then right clicking on the weather app and pinning to start menu?

Can use start 8 if you want. Returns the start button, can configure other things in it. No full screen with tiles. Tiles and full screens still there to use later.

Why don't you try adding a new standard user account and see if the weather app is available to the new account. I wonder if you had some policy enforced on the accounts group that didn't translate well to windows 8.

Maybe you could change them to be members of the administrator group and then back to standard users.
