You haven't been paying much attention then I'm guessing. They are in major debt (100 mill iirc). Last I read they might have found a backer to help them out some but don't know what has/is coming of it.
They have 3 big titles they are pretty much banking their future on. South Park Stick of Truth, Company of Heroes 2, Metro Last Light. They delayed them all as well because they can't afford for them to not be up to snuff.
They are on life support with bankruptcy coming.

If 2 million people buy this bundle for $10 each, they cut 20% of their debt. Now, the average is $5.50 (I can't access at work), so they won't get nearly that.

This is why I paid more for the bundle. I like the games they publish, I want to see them survive.

Whatever. For every person that's really that die-hard about the games being indie and whatnot, a dozen new people will come lured by awesome deals.

Maybe it's just that we consider the best part of the Humble Bundle to be something different? Personally, I've never cared about it being on Linux, Windows or Android, and I don't care about the lack of DRM as I always get Steam keys. The best part of the HIB has always been the great price, and that still exists here.
That's probably why we don't care. We realize that they will still have HIBs even after this that will be more along the usual ways.

Take it easy. I don't read every bit of gaming news out there, so I was unaware...

Well, still not sure I like HB going away from the whole indie/no-DRM/multi platform mantra they had before. Deals I can get on Steam, humblebundle was something different.. Hopefully this is just a one-time thing
And out of those I don't care about any other game than company of heroes, which I already own.

This is a pretty one-off thing. They'll continue to normally sell DRM free multi-platform games like they always have.

It does state this, but just a reminder you don't get individual keys or giftable copies of any extra games (excluding SR3).

I paid $6.. I would've paid more if I wasn't a broke student. Sad that THQ are close to going under.. they made some fantastic games.

Thanks for the heads up.
My brother is building his first DIY PC this weekend so I grabbed the bundle for him.

Went in for $15. I love humble bundles, but I always end up feeling like I'm stealing the games, even though I go above average. Hope THQ pulls through somehow.

Can more than one bundle of these games be purchased ? If they allow that, I plan on purchasing about 6 bundles, and having a little contest here myself.
I love Company Of Heroes. Stay in business THQ. I love your games. Ill donate to THQ only though, since they are having a rough time, it does seem like donating to them is also helping charity.
