Default Need cheap filehosting solution

I'm trying to setup a 1tb drive I already have with music, family videos and pictures for other family members to DL. I have a lot of large files, and am not interested in Dropbox, or paying to host.

I remember a few months ago reading in the Hot Deals section about sale on an external adapter with network capability for file hosting, and had its own proprietary software for users to connect outside of the network, and it was easy to use. (Parents & Grandparents can do it, etc.)

I didn't buy it, and should have. I remember it being pretty cheap.

Anybody know what I'm talking about? I need to buy it, but can't seem to find the right search parameters via Google.

Thanks-

I think Google Drive gives you up to 5GB for free, and allows you to share your Drive with others...

EDIT: Sorry, I read your post as "1GB" not "1TB". You'll probably have to pay for that, but please post back if you find a solution that fits your budget.

was it a pogo-something?

also something to keep in mind that could cause problems would be if you have a bandwidth cap.
