not showing at all on GMG must be a region thing.
very interested in this game.. the reviews are ALL super positive.
and I did HATE FC2..
even with cheating the game just was not fun.

GMG can't sell Ubisoft games to those of us in NA due to their contract with Ubi.
Release date is December 4th for all I think (I know for certain it is for PC)

Decided to pull the trigger and got the pre-order from Gamefly for $40 with a coupon. It wont activate on steam, but it's also $10 less than steam. I have a few games with Gamefly and have never had issues with their service before.

The Totalbiscuit video made me lol really good twice. Once when using the flamethrower and running away to bandage himself and goes back after like 10-15 seconds and the entire place is an inferno hahahha. Then when he is complaining about how good of a shot the main character is and the gator comes out of the river and attacks him as he was near the rivers bank hahaha

He avoids story stuff. Just showed off how things worked and side missions that are all over the place.

Watched about half the TB video last night. The game looks fantastic. I'm even more hyped for it now.

This game looks really good. Almost like Skyrim set in the modern world.

It's looking great, but I sold my key I got with my video card because I'm sure it will be $3-5 by the time I'd get around to playing it (haven't played games from 2 summer sales ago...). Plus, Steam > Ubi-store thing, and it was an Ubi key.

Demo'd it for about an hour. Amazing that the exact same control rebinding issues in FC2 are present in FC3. Already having to make macros. That alone is enough to piss me off. Bought FC2 release day, not making the same mistake.
Game does look beautiful though. Driving actually has decent physics based on the 1min I drove. Shooting felt great with the AK47. All the skill points/items stuff seems overly complicated for a FPS though.
Well that's all. Didn't give me the urge to buy it at release. Have plenty of games from the sales to keep me busy until this goes under $20, and maybe fucking patch the control issues this time.

Used a vpn and played for about 2 hours so far. Pretty freaking cool I have to say. It is quite beautiful and fun. So much stuff to do. Take over an outpost and you get a bunch of side quests plus all the exploring. I dig the wildlife stuff a lot. I was circling around a outpost to figure out how to take them out stealthy and next thing I know I hear a growl and turn around and see a tiger coming towards me. I run because I don't want to alert the outpost, so I run to it and the pirates in it had their backs to me at that moment and the tiger peeled off of me and went after them and killed them all and I killed the tiger

How's the performance/FPS?
Based on reviews of the final release, it sounds like it's been optimized well compared to some of pre-release reviews.
