interesting. I never knew this? I guess I got stuck with a Windows Phone with no SD capability, so oh well. But the fact that I have to use some crapsoftware to actually interface with my Windows Phone is quite annoying.

not a surprise at all that Microsoft is able to do something right. They've been doing right for quite a while now IMO.
Google, still has no idea how to execute a plan.

Gddamnit. I spent $54 on monday for a sandisk class 10. Please tell me yours isn't a class 10, or give me the link so i can get a second for my tablet.

its definitely a class 10. they stopped selling class 6 a long time ago.

Yes, its the fastest out there right now, lol
There is the Extreme Pro 95MB/s MicroSD, but the largest size is 16GB.
And naturally, no phone right now would support those speeds.

If I were that serious about HD recording, I'd prefer a real camera, not a phone. And I dont need it for games & apps.

My phone is 90% full now and I have a bunch of movies on it.I even shared a few movies to a few random people with gs3s in a bar.This kid gave me ip man 1,2 and 3 and it took up like 4gb and I gave hime a few movies also.
I was amazed how fast the wifi direct goes on the gs3,it took about 6 min to get all 3 HD movies from one gs3 to another.
I will use the 64gb stick with ease as I use my gs3 as a media server now in my network.

Just buy the 64GB. Even if one were released tomorrow, it's MSRP would be in the $150-200 range which isn't cost-effective. If you really need more than 64GB of space, I would rethink my storage strategy.

Seriously. If your video files for a mobile device are >4gb then you're doing something wrong.

In 2012, if you're encoding your files multiple times at different sizes for different devices, you're wasting your time. Even mobile devices in 2012 can easily play back 1080p. The only limitation is storage space. With microSD, that doesn't have to be a limitation.

Obviously not as you wouldn't have this trouble if you did.
If you're really worried I think there's a few ways round it but you'll need root.
