What do you guys think Skyrim will go down to? Wondering if I should just bite on $29.99 Gamestop sale (activates on Steam).

Dunno, Skyrim hasn't seen more then 50% off since it still sells so well but who knows. At worst, it will be 50% off during this sale I'd say, could possibly be 66% off if you are lucky.

If it's not 66% off this sale it surely will be during the Winter sale. Personally I picked it up launch week, and was worth full price. I'm just waiting for a price drop on the DLC before getting back into the game again.

So there are only new games every other day, so for example a 6 day sale is really only a 3 day sale.

No there are new sales every day. The previous days sales just remain available for 24 hours, instead of 12 like they did in previous sales.

Nothing for me today. Though I would highly recommend Sleeping Dogs for anyone looking for a good open world game, or just a good game in general. Tempted by Max Payne, but I'll wait for the $5 sale.

You missed the Prototype bundle that Amazon ran like a week ago I see
From what I've heard about P2, no, it isn't worth that much.

That's ok, I don't think the Amazon sales work for me up here. Looks like I should skip it anyway.
What about Dead Island? $6.79 seems decent.

Dead Island is worth it for that price. I enjoyed it overall. If you don't have the first Prototype that is worth the $4.99 though and for the most part the second one is a lot like it.

Guess steam don't want my money...so far.
I wonder why they recycle so many titles from past sales, and the savings aren't really there either.

Disappointing 2 days i'd say. Hopefully better tomorrow. Although, maybe it's worth giving less heard about games a chance instead of just buying the ones reviewed and raved about.
Mike, Max Payne 3 is worth that I think, I enjoyed it.

Anyone played Sleeping dogs? hadn't heard of it but looks like it could be OK. £14.99 though not that cheap.

Yes, I bought it at launch and it's excellent. Honestly a contender for GOTY IMO.

Didn't realise it was a true crime game, I remember the one set in USA from PS2 years ago. Square enix helped develop it too wikipedia says. This could be purchase number 1 might be good.
edit: Strange though, it says the game is 15gb, yet after purchasing it says its 5.8gb.

It *was* a true crime game. Honestly it's probably a good thing they moved away from that branding as those games didn't have the best reputation in the past. They got to start with a clean slate and nailed it.

There is a high res texture pack DLC (free) you can download for the game as well on the games store page.
