Default Screw size for H100i push/pull, CM HAF X 942?

I plan on installing a CORSAIR Hydro Series H100i Water Cooler with 4 ea. Noctua NF-F12 PWM 120mm Case Fans in a push Pull configuration.

The case is a COOLER MASTER HAF X RC-942-KKN1 and the H100i will mount under the top panel on the inside of the case. I will remove the top panel; attach 4 screws from above, through the outside corners of the 2 top fans and into the radiator. I donít think the four inside fan corners will have a place to attach to the case so will just need to attach to the radiator.

What size and length screws will I need to attach the radiator to the top and where might I find them if they donít come with the H100i? (USA)

Looking at the images on newegg it looks like you get all required hardware to mount the rad and two fans already. The 8 long screws should be long enough to go tru case and fans then into the rad. Not sure about the case but it's stated on coolermaster that it will hold a 360 rad up top so all holes should be there already. Guess it's a matter of shift forward/back for placement tho.

I'll know more tomorrow when it arrives. If the 8 long screws are long enough to attach the two top fans from the top of the case, through the fans and into the radiator and there are another 8 short screws that allow me to attach the bottom two fans to the radiator I'll be good.

You shouldn't have to worry about screws, Corsair will provide them. Usually 8 long ones and 8 short ones. That was the amount of screws that came with my XSPC EX240 radiator. Corsair's shouldn't be too different as they hardly overlook such matter.

In case you're wondering, the screws are long enough to have it in a Screw > Fan > Casing(thickness) > Radiator. That is the only way that I got my radiator to mount into my Corsair 400R. Yours would be like mine except that yours comes with a plastic top cover to hide the fans.

If needed you could also use the 8 short screws to attach the fan and then just use standard fan screws to mount the fans to the case....Works pretty good with cases that have the upper grill exposed.

Since I have plenty of room I am considering leaving 2 ea. 200 mm fans in place on the top, (I need to add the second), and install the radiator inside the cabinet.

Thoughts?

If you're using the 200mm fans as the radiator fans, it won't work. You really need high static pressure fans to get air through the dense fins and has a closed space with the radiator. 200mm fans are usually high CFM, slow spinning and more importantly, low static pressure. The only way it would work is that you use the 120mm fan and 200mm fans in a kind of a push pull configuration. Optimally, use only 120mm fans for the radiator(120mm/240mm).

I am using 4 ea. Noctua NF-F12 PWM 120mm Case Fans in a push Pull configuration. I found a video on the web with the 200mm fans used as well and if you can skip through the video, there is lots of space around the radiator.

I'm not sure there is a performance advandage though.

If there is any difference, it will be very minimal. You'll probably have more fan or wind noise as there are 2 more fans running. My setup is the opposite and the top are intakes because I want cool air to pass through my radiator. You can set it any way you want it, I just made a decision that I want it as an intake to add more positive pressure to the case.

In a push pull configuration, there might not be enough screws as there are only 8 long ones. Short ones are meant to be used to mount the radiator to the case and nothing in between. You can get additional screws here if you need more. Pick them according to the thread size and desired length. Too long and you'll have to cut the extra length or risk puncturing the radiator.
