It's the pro mlc model.

That being said, I wouldn't touch it until Anand Shimpi provides an update on the 840 pro failures all over the net, including his two test samples.

Yeah. One, we still don't know the cause of the 840 Pro failures, and two, I got 128GB 830 for $70, I know 840Pro a new model, but IMO it is not worth twice the premium over 830.

Sale at newegg a few weeks back. It's come back at $80 several times since then, but it seems that 830 stock is starting to run low, so we may not see deals like that until they're gone. You just need to watch for sales.

I bought an 128gb 830 last week and the best deal was $88. I bought it because I was so impressed at the endurance testing.
