Its interesting how there's nothing remotely new for desktops. If u have a cpu, ssd, or anything bought in the last 2 years there's pretty much no reason to upgrade. Video card might be the obky exception, but anything in the past year & ure still good.

A nice, 2GB video card on the cheap. Must be very quiet on the fans when not playing games. I usually don't want anything but since the card is the only thing left to finish off my new PC.....

1) 32/64GB DDR3, hopefully some 1600 rated CL9 RAM.
2) New case that can mount a H100 - pulled from SB build but can't mount in Antec 300.
3) 360 controller for PC... I like flying in Planetside 2, just not with a kb/mouse.
4) Cheap low RPM case fans if any come up.

If anything, a great deal on a good custom cooled 7970 would be nice.

i'm in the market for a quality UPS. IIRC, newegg offered something like 20% off of all UPS's last november in one of their emails that had nothing but "xx% off" coupon codes. i think they may have also sent out one or two of those kinds of emails over the course ofthe year...here's hoping that another one will come along, b/c just like quality PSU's, a quality UPS is not inexpensive. i've got two Tripp-Lite OMNIVS1000's that i love, but i would consider one of those Cyber Power units w/ the digital display on the front. that would save me from having to move my Kill-a-watt meter from one outlet to another, or from having to buy yet another Kill-a-watt meter.

Can't comment on LG's but I've tried several brands of front loading washing machines and dryers and the Samsung with VRT (Vibration Reduction Technology) is by far the best set I've owned to date.

A good price on a projector with deep blacks, a couple of raid cards, and some drives to go with them. A long shot...a good price on a dark wall to wall carpet for our theatre/play room.

Don't need any toys, and first holidays being single in a few years so I'm taking the opportunity to treat myself and greatly expand my wardrobe. And maaaybe grab an SSD but that's the only electronic purchase and I gotta hold myself to that.

I really was hoping that with the new ipad, the ipad 4, and the ipad mini all out that this Black Friday the ipad 2's might be put on huge sales to clear them out. From what I've seen so far, that's not happening
Really want an ipad but i want it for one purpose and one purpose only and can't justify spending $400 for it... wish they'd finally come down in price or go on a big clearout sale.

I haven't seen the expected BF deal on 256GB yet. If anyone finds one let us know

Still no signs of cheap graphics cards . I doubt some of the deals we've seen in the past month will be beat. Shouldn't have waited.

I'm keeping an eye out for deals on:
- 8 GB sticks of RAM.
- Moar SSD deals, though it appears SSD prices have stabilized and actually risen slightly, and the deals have cooled off.
- 2 TB desktop HDDs.
- 1 TB laptop HDDs.

I'd love to get a *great* SSD deal; like 30 cents a GB or cheaper on a 256GB or greater model. A '120' GB for $10 would not be the deal I want; more storage pls or GTFO.
Otherwise, meh.
Watch TV/movies on my PC monitor, havent used a TV in years. Tablets, no thanks. Phones; who cares. Black Friday this year is pretty freakin crap from the ads I've seen so far. No-name brands at near name-brand prices; thanks?
